For a good high transparency refrigerator drawer box molds, on mold steel, we are suggest to choose stainless steels such as S136, H13, DIN 2344... These are all temper steels which whole block would be hardened after heat treatment. Mold forming area surface is good for polishing and polishing lasting. When we are making production with PC or PS material for drawer box molds, it would not easily to have scratch.
With mold making, we able to support with mold flow analysis to check the injection with material filling, melting lines on part surface.... We will analysis all point to avoid the short comings as possible.
Besides of high strict mold tooling dimensions controlling, for these transparent parts, polishing is very critical for final good part appearance. We adopt hand polishing to reach mirror result.
